Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Business Manager who will take charge of both the overall business operations and strategic direction of our skincare retail store. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, manage client and vendor relationships, and ensure business growth while maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a talent for process improvement, and the ability to manage all aspects of the business effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of business operations to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Oversee and optimize daily operations, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring timely procurement and quality control of stock.
- Handle client interactions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and prompt resolution of any concerns or issues.
- Deescalate and resolve customer complaints or conflicts in a professional and effective manner.
- Utilize productivity and business management tools to streamline processes and enhance performance across all areas.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to drive sales, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate staff, fostering a positive work environment focused on performance and results.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
- Monitor and analyze business performance data, using insights to inform decision-making and improve overall efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role within the retail or beauty/skincare industry.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and manage complex operations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for managing client and vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in using business and productivity tools (e.g., project management, scheduling, and inventory systems).
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Must reside in or around Ogudu, Magodo, Gbagada, Ojota/Ketu, Ikeja, or Maryland.
