Distracting from his current parental clash with his forever baby mama Sophia Momodu, the Afropop singer David Adeleke ‘Davido’ has released closed-up photos of himself bonding together with his obvious heart desire, Chioma Rowland whom he is going to get hitched to in a blink.

Even though the past weekend witnessed Ms Momodu’s lawyered-up response to Davido’s April lawsuit asking for joint custody of 9-year-old daughter Imade Adeleke, the #CHIVIDO24 pre-wedding pictures overshadowed it for the time being.

A deck of multiple snapshots told different stories about the new life that Chioma and Davido will be entering and also about Nigeria’s diversity. The couple represents unique cultures, both Igbo and Yoruba, and that was what showed to the pop star’s followers on a late Sunday 23 June evening post.

On Davido’s Instagram, the famous Isi Agu symbol of strength and courage was depicted via an inanimate lion shooting out from one carousel revealing the partners’ golden glow.

While a fresh story was being told through Davido’s IG, elsewhere his bride in the company of intimate friends, was saying her final goodbye to single life at a very lively bridal shower.

In that moderately lit mansion lounge where the fun and bonding was happening, there was no hint of the damning reply baby mama Sophia Momodu had given to Davido’s 17 April lawsuit that claimed that he wasn’t getting the deserved satisfaction for the financial, housing and healthcare support he had been investing in daughter Imade over the year.

A reply through Ms Momodu’s counsels, Punuka attorneys & Solicitors and Bimpe Ajegbomogun & Co. confirmed that coldness had been building between their client and the pop star since 2022 when they ended their kept-under-wraps romance.

The attorney statement shared on Saturday emphatically expressed that David has repeatedly threatened to make Sophia’s life miserable if she does not make herself available to him sexually.

It also declared that since July 2022, David has not fulfilled his financial responsibilities towards their daughter, leaving her school fees unpaid. Their daughter’s school has contacted him multiple times regarding the fees for the 2021/2022 school term and January 2023, with no response.

What Sophia Momodu through her lawyers want the public to take from the reply is that she has not denied the singer access to Imade Adeleke as is being claimed. Instead, the release claims, it is the pop star father who has abandoned her and it now seems like he is crying foul.
