Responsibilities:
•Develop plans to install, maintain, enhance, test, and migrate DBMS products and supporting software.
•Perform all of the duties and responsibilities of a Data Base Administrator 2.
•Provide advanced level database management support and assistance.
•Collaborates and consults with users, system administrators, and systems programmers to overcome significant operational and/or technical issues and problems.
•Approves and authorizes the access to resources and data.
•Analyzes, develops and implements disaster recovery plans.
•Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software
•Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.
•Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company.
•Setting up database user accounts
•Creating autonomous database backups.
•Regularly updating the database security protocols
•Performs other related tasks as required
