Many weeks after her disqualification, Beauty’s name continues to pop up in conversations in the Big Brother Naija house. Yesterday was not an exception with Shella and GrooPhy ships dragging her for certain relationship intrusions. Bella’s argument was that Beauty kept coming for her man, Sheggz even though she was aware they were together. Though viewers saw differently that Sheggz was obsessed with Beauty. In two diary sessions, he dedicated time to telling Biggie about one beautiful level 2 housemate. If Sheggz got a chance with Beauty, Bella would have been out of the picture.

Meanwhile, Phyna stopped receiving criticisms for taking Beauty’s chance after warning her to leave Groovy. For this, Phyna remained insecure for the longest time. Fighting invisible battles with Beauty’s absence as Groovy did not completely reciprocate the vibe she’s been giving. Phyna also constantly mentioned Groovy’s ex as the cause of whatever rift in her relationship with Groovy. One Twitter user commented that, “after the show, Phyna would discover that she was only fighting herself. Beauty didn’t have any problem with her. She’s learnt from Groovy’s mistake and moved on completely. She was right. Beauty was Governor’s spec.”

The housemates still on the show might really be missing their evicted colleagues as the former were having discussions about the latter. Hermès and Adekunle raised the issue of Giddyfia’s love square. With him shuffling between Diana, Rachel and Amaka, he bagged the title of “the ladies’ man”. I must say it was crazy seeing three from the square leave the show almost at the same time. They actually constituted a menace with their disorganised ship.

Chomzy’s reaction to spicy comments and being bitter was the best thing you will hear today. In one of the media rounds yesterday, Chomzy read comments on Twitter about her personality. Most especially, her contribution to the Groovy and Phyna relationship earned her so much hate. However, in response, she said: “I’m not a bitter person and I’m not foolish.” She insisted that she had been misconstrued because of her facial expressions. The irony is, viewers pay way too much attention to the happenings on the show to have a general misconception about one person. Rather than be in denial, Chomzy should get her character fixed.

Doyin, on the other hand, referenced her sour relations with Chichi. While reading the comment on Twitter concerning her hate for Chichi, she was taken aback. She addressed it, saying she didn’t hate her. In her words, “I think she is beautiful and amazing.” Doyin didn’t also disregard the fact that Chichi acted in ways that were outrightly unpleasant to her and she said her mind. “Is it bad to be boring,” was her response to being called boring; though she also referred to other housemates as dry people when they refused to play games with her. Twitter could sometimes be a toxic space, so some of the comments were really hot.
