Position Overview:

Tyms is looking for a proactive and creative Digital Marketing Intern to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic tech company.

The position is hybrid, combining remote work with on-site days at our office in Ogba, Lagos.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Marketing: Assist in creating engaging and relevant content for our blog, website, and social media channels.

SEO: Help optimize our website content for search engines to increase organic traffic and improve search rankings.

Social Media Ads: Support the development and management of paid social media campaigns to drive engagement and lead generation.

Video Content Creation: Collaborate on the production of video content, including planning, shooting, and editing for various platforms.

Analytics: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure cohesive and compelling marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field. A background in Accounting or Finance is highly desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of content marketing principles and practices.

Basic knowledge of SEO techniques and tools.

Familiarity with social media platforms and experience with ad management.

Ability to create and edit video content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or similar.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative mindset with attention to detail.

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and social media management tools.

Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
