Human Resources Manager at Gtext Holdings

Location: Lagos

GText Holdings is a global conglomerate company that currently has over seven subsidiaries under her umbrella with a global presence across Africa , Europe , North America and Asia especially the US and UAE. The company is into Real Estate, Construction, Media, Consulting, Investment and Agriculture.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Human Resource Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of human resource management principles and practices. The Human Resource Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies to support the company’s overall goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor employee performance and provide feedback
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation
  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance
  • Manage HR budgets and resources effectively

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred years of experience in human resource management, with a minimum of [5] years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and good judgement.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications
  • HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

 

Candidate must reside around Ikoyi, Lekki and Victoria Island in Lagos.

SALARY RANGE : 300k to 400k
