We are seeking an experienced and innovative Human Resource Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of human resource management principles and practices. The Human Resource Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies to support the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor employee performance and provide feedback
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation
- Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance
- Manage HR budgets and resources effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred years of experience in human resource management, with a minimum of [5] years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Attention to detail and good judgement.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications
- HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Candidate must reside around Ikoyi, Lekki and Victoria Island in Lagos.
SALARY RANGE : 300k to 400k
