Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team as a full-time, on-site employee in Lagos. The Optometrist will be primarily responsible for examining patients’ eyes and providing vision correction solutions based on the diagnoses and recommend the best course of treatment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school or college of optometry.
- Valid license to practice optometry in Nigeria.
- Experience conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing and treating visual acuity problems and ocular diseases.
- Proficiency in the use of advanced diagnostic tools and technologies for the eye.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Good organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and ensure the smooth flow of patient care activities.
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Flexible schedule for accommodating evening and weekend patient appointments.
