Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Superintendent Pharmacist located in Ikorodu. The Superintendent Pharmacist will be responsible for managing the pharmacy operations, including dispensing drugs, providing advice on drug selection, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and leading a team of pharmacy technicians.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, or a related field
- Registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria
- At least 3 years of experience as a Superintendent Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of drug therapy and its application to specific disease states
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy staff and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers
- Experience with inventory management and cost control
- A commitment to ensuring patient safety and providing high-quality healthcare services
- Computer proficiency with familiarity with pharmacy management software systems preferred
- An existing network of healthcare providers and vendors would be an added advantage
