No lost vibe over fuel scarcity

Fuel scarcity over the last two weeks have been exhausting, what with spending hours on end at fuel stations. Man hours are being lost to the unproductive activity of looking for fuel, coupled with rising costs induced by fuel scarcity. It’s all doom and gloom.

Hey, not yet.

Now is the time to bring back lessons of the COVID-19 pandemic – working remotely and taking your health (very) seriously. Spending many hours at fuel queues and then burning the fuel in traffic jams caused by the same fuel queues could make you lose your vibe. Save yourself the stress of traffic jams and lost time by working from home as much as it is possible. And then, on weekends, go somewhere serene, soul-lifting, and engage in leisure activities for two days.

You don’t have to travel far to reset your senses from this most peculiar Nigerian wahala. Look around you, or search the internet for destinations that combine accommodation and leisure activities, either in your state or region. The two days will do you a world of good.

Better still, log on to www.meiza.ng to read about the many great trends shaping the country’s bar fuel scarcity! Also, you’d read about places you could visit. If you are in Lagos, the Lakowe Golf Resort is an excellent choice and, in the Middle Belt, the Jos Rayfield Lake Resort.

Don’t forget to share your travel experience with us at info@meiza.ng. Happy reading.
