The weight loss journey of a single woman continues in Skinny Girl in Transit’s 7th season

After up to four years of waiting, fans can keep a date with the 7th season of Ndani TV's Skinny Girl in Transit web series which debuts in two weeks.

The popular web series, “Skinny Girl in Transit” continues to unfold with the relationships and life struggles of a single woman Tiwalade played by the actress, Abimbola Craig being put under a microscope. The character is expected to resume her hurdles in Season 7, which is set premiere in two weeks.

After up to four years of keeping the audience waiting, Ndani TV, the production company in charge of releasing all the series, made it known via Instagram on Saturday that the next season will be coming soon.

In the post, Ndani TV told the Skinny Girl in Transit followers to “set your reminders” for Friday, 26 January when the seventh season of the show will debut on YouTube.

The long-awaited series, which is directed by Bunmi Ajakaiye and developed by Temi Balogun, will now have new writers Lani Aisida, Ifeanyi Barbara Chidi, alongside Abdul Tijani Ahmed who also doubles as a producer.

The series showed the life of Tiwalade all through the past six seasons. She is a young woman from Lagos whose burden in the series ties with successfully managing a weight loss process she had started.

Beyond being occupied with her fitness, the series delves into Tiwalade’s personal growth, work, family and relationships, ensuring that the audience is exposed to different twists and turns as the picture unfolds.

A sneak peek of the trailer reveals the naming ceremony of a newborn is going on. It is starting on a very positive note but that is just what the audience can grasp on the surface. There will be future problems to solve in a web series featuring a prominent cast like Timini Egbuson, Sharon Ooja, Ngozi Nwosu, Ayo Adesanya, Woli Arole and Bisola Aiyeola all hitting the screen.
