What prompted you to commercialize Aju Mbaise?
I discovered Aju Mbaise shortly after childbirth when I began to add weight unnecessarily. In my urgent search for a solution to burn the excess fat, I discovered the herbs from Imo state. After taking it for about a month, I realized I had slimmed down so well and regained my banging body.
At this time, I was broke and I decided to increase its awareness and make it easily accessible and build a business around it. I made my first million from the sale of Aju Mbaise not too long after I commenced business. I’ve gone on to acquire other investments.
For me, commercializing Aju Mbaise was a case of bridging a gap and making money in the process. This also prompted the thought of packaging Aju Mbaise in tea bags so that I can meet the orders of high-end clients and Nigerians in the Diaspora. We need to encourage locally sourced ingredients or local products from Nigeria as long as the products meet the best standards.
