ROLE SUMMARY
The post holder will be responsible for developing software applications for the Android operating system for POS Terminals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build mobile applications, support the mobile systems in production and resolve and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Experience integrating APIs into Android applications.
- Stay informed and up to date on the ever-evolving mobile ecosystem.
- Write documentation for technical use.
- Understanding of Hybrid Applications
- The post holder will also be responsible for hands-on coding and mentoring more junior developers.
- Assess and optimize designs through review, evaluation tools and analysis to ensure appropriate user experiences for phones and tablets.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field
- Experience with EMV
- Experienced in EFP (Electronic Funds Programming) platform.
- Strong proficiency in JAVA and Kotlin programming languages
- Working knowledge of the general Android landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to use initiative.
- 1 – 4 years’ hands on experience as an Android developer
- 1-4 years of experience using Native Development on Android and Cross Platform Application
