Organise is a hit-single by Nigerian singer and songwriter Ahmed Ololade Asake, popularly known by his stage name Asake. In his usual fashion, this hit track is the perfect blend of Afro-tempo and Fuji.

Asake began his journey in the Nigerian music scene at a young age, the singer/songwriter is rumoured to have also dabbled in dancing at the start of his career. He began by sharing his freestyles online as a means to garner visibility, this in turn was a fruitful venture for him as it drew the attention of influencers on social media, the likes of Tunde Ednut, Broda Shaggi and Sydney Talker who started to repost his freestyles.

Asake debuted his hit-single Mr. Money, which is the genesis of one of his many aliases. Mr. Money went on to release Omo Ope, featuring YBNL godfather Olamide, which peaked at the number one spot on Nigerian Apple Music List in February, 2022. Some people have likened his sound and style to Bella Shmurda and Zinoleesky; however, Mr. Money’s sound is unique in a way that is not just smoother but deeper and softer than his competition. This quality has elevated him among his competition.

Asake’s dexterous voice and top-tier use of words are the qualities that make him really stand out, that and his superhuman ability to drop club-bangers every week (LOL). It’s with little to no doubt that listeners agree Mr. Money is a force to be reckoned with in the “NOW” Nigerian music industry.

Pioneering his own genre of Afro-Classic that is a smooth blend of Afro-tempo and Fuji, Asake steadily wows his audience and keeps them hooked. The question now is, what shall we call this new genre? Afro-Fuji, perhaps? I guess we’ll all have to wait and see.

Organise is certainly no exception from one of Mr. Money aka Asake’s “WOW Moments”. It is a proper representation of our newly discovered genre of Afro-Fuji.

This club-banger has lyrics that are dedicated to tabling the matter of men and women alike who, for some reasons, believe they are smarter than everyone else in their league maybe because they posses a little more knowledge or a deeper well of wisdom. This inexplicable trait pushes such people to go around offering unsolicited advice.

The lyrics go thus…

Organize

Every other day I organize

Some of us are wise

Every other person over wise (mmh)

O logbon ju, o gbon, o gbon, o gbon

Iwo lo gbon ju

Agbogbon ju, ogbon, ama molo gbon go

Oti logbon ju

He also explain how he likes to have things in order (organise things) in order to avoid complications. Other lyrics show that Asake is a focused person who simply wants to live a life of enjoyment and not be open to manipulations.

Organise is certainly a relatable song because most people have found themselves in similar situations one too many times.

Mr. Money’s hit-single is one that would have you relating to every line while having your limbs move uncontrollably. Be sure to give this track a listen.
