Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure for our applications. You will collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and GraphQL.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
• Build and optimize APIs for high performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to define and deliver new features and improvements.
• Ensure seamless integration with databases, providing efficient data retrieval and storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, and technical discussions, and contribute to improving our engineering practices.
• Ensure proper documentation of backend systems and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development using Node.js and GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms, including deployment, monitoring, and management.
• Proficiency in working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with API security practices, performance optimization, and scaling strategies.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and lifecycle.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
