Business Development Executive at Codeware Nigeria

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)

Job Summary

The successful candidate must devote his/her attention to business development. S/He must be able to create and develop business opportunities within existing and new clients’ space. S/He must be a goal-getter and display enthusiasm for sales and networking. S/He is to plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales for the company in line with agreed business plans.

Responsibilities

As Business Development Executive, the successful candidate will:

  • Take responsibility for driving new business sales opportunities, from initial prospect to closing the opportunity
  • Be required to build a prospect list to ensure the sustainability of the business is upheld and your agreed revenue targets are achieved and exceeded
  • Independently develop processes to obtain leads through possible sourcing opportunities, and work closely with the company’s partners to leverage prospects/clients
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Be focused on Quote Creation / Business Development / Client Relationship management
  • Develop and submit comprehensive proposals based on individually or team assessed needs of potential clients
  • Maintain the ongoing account relationship to maximise future growth opportunities
  • Take direction in bringing together 3rd parties to ensure the right solution are proposed and executed
  • Contact potential clients to assess their individual needs and demonstrate how Microsoft Dynamics solutions can meet or exceed these needs
  • Attend networking events to ensure the brand name gains maximum exposure
  • Make warm sales calls to existing customers in order to up sell products and services
  • Building strong relationships with appropriate potential and existing customers
  • Through a committed approach towards delivering innovative sales performance, achieve personal targets for new business and customer retention.
  • Working closely with the Business Development Managers to ensure sale targets are met
  • Ensure industry coverage to touch all opportunities on a scheduled basis
  • Present Microsoft Dynamics solutions from beginning to end including working with presales to demonstrate Microsoft Dynamics solutions to prospects

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or its equivalent.
  • Proven new business sales track record in solution sales
  • Minimum of Two (2) – year experience, preferably in a telecoms/software environment
  • Ability to drive sales effectively and meet sales goals
  • Be able to respond well to pressure and meeting targets
  • Smart, innovative and a good communicator (Written and Oral)
  • Excellent inter personal relations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven track record of selling.
  • Decision making and excellent negotiation skills
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic & passionate to achieve
  • Target driven, Reliable and Consistent
