Role Overview

As a Business Development Officer (BDO) at Rovatel Media, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This is a key role that directly contributes to the success and expansion of our company, requiring an individual with a strong business acumen, networking skills, and a passion for achieving tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and partners across various industries.
  • Create and present proposals, contracts, and pitches that reflect the value of Rovatel Media’s services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Creative, and Production) to ensure client satisfaction and seamless delivery of projects.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics to optimize strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to remain competitive and relevant.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the media, marketing, or advertising industry.
  • Strong network of contacts in the media and marketing space, with a track record of successful business relationships.
  • Proven ability to close deals and meet revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills—the ability to confidently pitch and sell services.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills—the ability to spot opportunities, conduct competitive analysis, and translate them into revenue-generating activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing trends, media buying, and online advertising platforms is a strong plus.
