Role Overview: Anfani is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Operations Analyst to manage and optimize our financial operations. This role is integral to ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes, including financial modeling and analysis, financial regulatory compliance, cash flow management, and project financial oversight. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be adept at both strategic financial planning and hands-on financial management. This role is primarily located in Lagos, Nigeria, with flexibility for some remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making. Prepare and present detailed financial reports to management.
- Project Financing Oversight: Monitor and manage the financial aspects of projects, ensuring they stay on budget and meet financial targets.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives by providing financial insights and forecasts.
- Financial Management: Oversee and optimize day-to-day financial operations, including transactions, invoicing, and other accounting processes.
- Cash Flow Optimization: Analyze and improve cash flow management strategies to enhance liquidity and financial health.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial and tax regulations. Manage tax planning and compliance, filings, and audits with our regulatory consultants.
- Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to report on financial status and develop financial strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is advantageous.
- Proven experience in financial operations, analysis, and reporting within a dynamic business environment.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in presenting complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
