Job Description
· Designing, programming, installing, maintaining, repairing, and spacing security cameras, alarms, access controls, computer networks, and other equipment used in video surveillance systems.
· Monitoring the operation of security equipment for malfunctions or other problems.
· Recording events on camera and storing footage in a digital format for later reference
· Perform site surveys to assess customer needs and recommend system solutions.
· Generate system diagrams and documentation for both internal and external use.
· Maintain computer security and backups or other procedures as instructed.
· Keep up to date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
Requirements
· Minimum academic qualification of a First degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronics with 2-3 years of experience.
· Working knowledge of CCTV equipment, including IP cameras, DVRs and monitors.
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.
