Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ajah – Lekki, for a Chief Operating Officer. The Chief Operating Officer will oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure that the organization runs efficiently and effectively. This includes managing and leading the various departments, strategic planning and reporting, budgeting and financial management, and implementing strategies to achieve the company’s goals and objectives. The Chief Operating Officer will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and work in close collaboration with other members of the Senior Management Team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a similar executive leadership role
• Demonstrated expertise in operational management, strategic planning, and financial management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to anticipate and mitigate operational challenges
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment, and to mentor and develop staff
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Experience in the agricultural industry, financial services industry or in a related field is a plus
