Role Description

This is a part-time fully remote role for a Communications And Media Officer. The Communications And Media Officer will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans, managing media relations, and writing press releases. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with various teams to ensure cohesive messaging, handling inquiries from media outlets, and crafting compelling content to promote Lumina’s mission and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Press Releases and Writing skills
  • Experience in Communication and Strategic Communications
  • Media Relations skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
