We’re seeking a dynamic Content Strategist to lead our digital content efforts. You’ll create and distribute engaging content like articles, ebooks, and social media posts. Your role involves analyzing consumer insights, guiding our creative team, and shaping cross-channel promotion strategies.

Responsibilities include managing our monthly newsletter, tracking website traffic, and generating blog topics. We’re looking for innovative thinkers with a proven track record in various content formats. Share your portfolio with us to demonstrate your expertise.

Functions

  • Social Media Management: responsible for developing and executing social media strategies. You will create engaging content, optimize company pages, and foster community interaction. With expertise in social media marketing and analytics, they drive customer engagement, website traffic, and revenue growth.
  • Monthly calendar plan highlighting themed campaigns and their execution.
  • Collaboration with the graphics designer to Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

 

  • Digital Content Management: coordinate the development and deployment of contents across our website and other digital platforms not limited to social media & website.
  • Assist in maintaining web content and executing social media strategies.
  • Identify gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Create style guides to use as reference
  • Proofread and edit written pieces before publication
  • Schedule social media posts
  • Conduct keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs
  • Monitor web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates)
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics
  • Review and update published content as needed

 

  • Support Ticket & Inquiry Management: manage support tickets and inquiries across our communication channels to improve service quality and sales.
  • Open support tickets for inquiries, complaints or requests.
  • Resolve open tickets and see to their closure.
  • Timely follow-up with the operations team to ensure all tickets are adequately treated.
  • Log inquiries, and partnership requests and proffer necessary information to clients/leads.

Typical Day Responsibilities

Morning: Begin the day by reviewing emails and prioritizing tasks for the day. Coordinate any upcoming support tickets or inquiries and assign tasks to the Operations Team if necessary. Also, collate tasks reports to aid evaluation by Close of Business.

Mid-Morning: Schedule and execute posts for the day inline with the approved calendars and strategies.

Afternoon: Assist in coordinating operational activities, including task management, proposal and project updates. Follow up on pending tasks and provide support where necessary.

Late Afternoon: Prepare and distribute reports, including updates on operational tasks, upcoming deadlines, and any relevant documentation required for decision-making. Discuss events and operational

End of Day: Wrap up any pending tasks, prepare & submit agendas for next-day engagements, and ensure all communications and documentation are up-to-date.

Requirements

1. Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.

2. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.

4. Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO.

5. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

7. Experience in reporting and data analysis preferred.

8. Certification in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or similar relevant field

9. Knowledgeable about travel, tourism, offers & its trends

10. BSc. in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
