This year, we are turning up the heat with a grand prize worth ₦200,000. Here’s your chance to showcase your culinary creativity while highlighting the essence of Nigerian culture through food.

Contest Timeline:

• Registration Opens: December 2, 2024
• Registration Closes: December 9, 2024 (11:59 pm)
• Video Submission Window: December 2 – December 16, 2024 (11:59 pm)
• Video Upload to YouTube: December 17, 2024
• Voting Period: December 17 – December 25, 2024 (11:59 pm)
• Winners Announced: December 26, 2024

Submission Criteria:

• Video Length: Not more than 5 minutes
• Format: Landscape video suitable for YouTube
• Environment: Well-lit with clear visibility of cooking activities
• Audio: Clear and audible narration or explanations
• Ingredients Requirement: Must use at least 3 Nigerian cooking products
• Dish Type: Creative variations of jollof rice, made using at least 3 Nigerian-brand products

Submission Method – WeTransfer:

1. Visit WeTransfer to upload your contest video.
2. Ensure your video meets all the specified criteria.
3. Enter our email address (meizaflavourfiesta@gmail.com) as the recipient.
4. Provide a brief text explanation of your cooking along with the recipe used in the “message” section.

Judging Criteria:

• 1st Prize: ₦200,000 – Highest engagement (likes, comments, and views on YouTube)
• 2nd Prize: ₦100,000 – Second highest engagement (likes, comments, and views on YouTube)
• 3rd Prize: ₦50,000 – Third highest engagement (likes, comments, and views on YouTube)

How Voting Works:

• All submitted videos will be uploaded to our YouTube channel on December 17, 2024.
• Voting is based on engagement metrics: likes, comments, and views on each video.
• Voting closes on December 25, 2024, at 11:59 pm.
• Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to watch, like, and comment on your video to increase your chances of winning!
