After its positive reception from fans, Young John teased the release of a video to be directed by TG Omori. The video eventually dropped and the hit track gained an even wider audience, keeping heads bobbing, showing up on every playlist and countdown, and gaining rage on TikTok.

Young John, popularly known as Young John the Wicked Producer, is a renowned record producer, audio engineer, and artist. He has several hits to his name, including Ello Baby, Incase, Let Them Know, and several others.

Young John is currently signed to Chocolate City, alongside artists like Ckay, Blaqbonez, MI, and Jesse Jagz. Chocolate City is home to some of the brightest talents Nigeria has seen. Young John is no exception.

Davido’s feature on this track was a strategic move to help garner crowd engagement. Young John emphasised how great the featuring artist’s thoughts and feelings towards the track matter to him as DMW (Davido Music World) chairman and CEO Davido has several hits too numerous to mention. Together, The Wicked Producer and Davido remastered an outstanding remix that gained more popularity than the original.

The original song is one of the hit tracks that make up Young John’s debut album, Love is not Enough. It houses five impressive solo tracks, which he uses to showcase his versatility not only as a producer but as a singer and songwriter. The remix provides a hybrid sound compared to the original. Davido’s solo verse has just the right vibes, and he delivers a brilliant performance, just the right kind of feel that enhances the already existing afro-fusion beat.
