Business Administrator at Nigerian Fencing Federation
Location: Lagos

- Job Overview
A sports company is seeking an experienced Business Administrator to help drive growth and fundraising activities for its NGO (F.E.E.D). The Business Administrator will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to generate revenue and create partnerships, while also overseeing key internal operational activities.
This position reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- l Develop and implement fundraising strategies and activities that align with F.E.E.D.’s mission and goals
- l Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, partners, and sponsors
- l Write and edit grant proposals, applications, and reports
- l Manage relationships with current donors, ensuring regular communication and reporting on impact and progress
- l Create and manage marketing and communications strategies and materials, including social media, email marketing, and website content
- l Develop and maintain a database of stakeholders, including donors, partners, sponsors, and volunteers
- l Plan and coordinate events, both virtual and in-person, to support fundraising and engagement efforts
l Coordinate and collaborate with other F.E.E.D. staff members and volunteers to ensure cohesive and effective operations
Qualifications
- l Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications, or related field
- l Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or fundraising, preferably in a nonprofit setting
- l Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in grant proposal
- l Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, partners, sponsors, and volunteers
- l Proficiency in Canva, Mailchimp, and other business development software
- l Experience with event planning and coordination
l Passion for education and sports support for underprivileged children in Nigeria, and commitment to F.E.E.D.’s mission and values
Terms and Conditions
- l This is a full-time onsite position from Monday to Saturday. However,a hybrid schedule which allows for remote work on alternative Saturdays will be implemented.
- l Public Holidays will be worked out on a rotational basis.
- l 30% travel is required weekend work and event attendance is often necessary
- l The 13th-month bonus is dependent on the overall performance of the teamSALARY
