Rich in natural ingredients, Dudu Osun is specially formulated to make your skin glow.

Growing up, I was exposed to frequent use of black soap, which was either home-made or store bought. Then, at a time, I came across a particular bath product which was a household name, Dudu Osun. Specially formulated to moisturise the skin, Dudu Osun’s distinctive fragrance attracts like magnet and sets it apart from other bathing soaps.
Deriving from famed African black soap, which originated from West Africa, Dudu Osun’s natural ingredients have made many more people turn away from chemically formulated skincare products, which often come with heavy metals which expose users to a lot of health risks. Scented with osun, camwood extract and citrus juices, Dudu Osun is extremely good and healthy for the skin. Beyond this, it also helps to remove acne, oily skin, and other skin-related issues. The soap’s dark colour is as a result of the ingredients used during its production. Its adoption by many is not far-fetched – the natural soap also helps restore damaged skin from the effects skin-related issues like eczema, acne, freckles, and dark spots.
For those that don’t know, Dudu Osun is promoted by Tropical Naturals Limited, a business established in 1995 by Mr Abiola Ogunrinde to help people solve their skin-related problems and maintain natural skin glow. Moved by its incredible story and product trajectory, I engaged some users of the soap who shared their experiences while using the soap.
But before then, I must also confess that I am a fan of black soap and I can testify to its efficacy. Since I started using Dudu Osun, the results have been satisfactory – flawless, beautiful skin. After consistent use, I noticed that the soap is excellent for those who want blemish-free and glowing skin. But how does the product accomplish this?
Dudu Osun contains a variety of powerful skin-boosting natural ingredients that work harmoniously to gently exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells, leaving the skin healthy and awake.
Beyond exfoliating the skin, Dudu Osun can also treat the skin and this is because it contains anti-bacterial ingredients that thoroughly cleanse the skin, especially for those who suffer from blemishes, eczemas, acne and breakouts. It also contains key ingredients like lime juice and lemon juice, which help reduce hyperpigmentation, acne scars, and spots. This is a proven effect of the beauty product because I observed that my spots were getting lighter. Dudu Osun has helped me to cleanse my skin properly, and anytime I wash my face, I can feel that it washes the dirt away and my face feels clean.
Moreso, testimonies from a few users of the soap attest to the efficacy of this Africa’s famous black soap. The most common fear of any beauty product user is getting skin irritations from the many products that have flooded the market. But Anna Ajayi, an avid user of Dudu Osun, downplayed this fear. Anna said: “Dudu Osun has really been very good all the way because the ingredients in the soap are very natural and you won’t have to be worried about the fear of getting skin irritation from harsh chemicals.” Oluwajuwon Biobaku, another fan of Dudu Osun, said: “Dudu Osun has helped in my skincare journey so far because it has helped reduce the oils on my skin because I have a very oily skin,” adding: “I use it as a natural shampoo for my hair because it helps to properly remove build-up and I love the fact that it is all natural, and has no artificial colours or preservatives.”
With commentaries like these, it is not surprising why Dudu Osun has continued to appeal to more people across demographics, largely due to its naturalness and the anti-bacterial and exfoliating ingredients which help to nourish skin texture and tone. Also, the soap, if consistently used, helps to reduce inflammation and removes dark spots and wrinkles from the skin.
