Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead and scale our online sales strategy across owned platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) and third-party marketplaces (e.g., Jumia, Konga). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital merchandising, online customer behavior, performance marketing, and e-commerce operations preferably in the smartphone accessories or electronics space.
Key Responsibilities
Online Strategy & Sales Management
- Develop and execute an end-to-end e-commerce growth strategy for D2C and marketplace platforms
- Set and manage e-commerce sales targets, product pricing, and promotional calendars
- Optimize product listings, descriptions, SEO, and conversion rates on all platforms
- Monitor and manage stock availability for all online channels in collaboration with inventory team
Platform Operations
- Manage daily operations of online stores including order processing, returns, and customer queries
- Ensure seamless integration with payment gateways, delivery partners, and customer service tools
- Track and report performance metrics: traffic, conversion, AOV, CAC, ROAS, etc.
Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across paid search, display, email, and social media
- Coordinate with the creative and product teams to develop e-commerce content and visuals
- Leverage data and customer behavior insights to inform personalization and retention strategies
Partnerships & Channel Expansion
- Maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers (Jumia, Konga, etc.)
- Identify and onboard new online sales channels and fulfillment partners
- Drive affiliate and influencer collaborations to boost product visibility and engagement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Digital Commerce, or related field
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience managing e-commerce platforms, ideally in the electronics or smartphone accessory industry
- Strong understanding of CMS platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce), and marketplaces (Jumia, Konga, Amazon)
- Proficiency in performance analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.)
- Experience with product feeds, catalog management, and digital merchandising
- Hands-on knowledge of SEO, SEM, and customer journey mapping
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with logistics, order fulfillment, and last-mile delivery coordination
- Working knowledge of CRM tools
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams (marketing, tech, operations)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive results under pressure
- Cart abandonment and customer retention rates
