About the Role:
As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Tunjio Labs, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving our design strategy. You will be responsible for understanding user needs, translating them into innovative design solutions, and ensuring the highest standards of visual and interaction design. Your role will involve close collaboration with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that delight our users and drive business values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the UI/UX design process, from concept development and wireframing to prototyping and implementation.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design assets that bring concepts to life and communicate design intent.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, data analysis, and evolving user needs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, and advocate for design excellence within the organization.
- Advocate for and implement user-centered design practices, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of all design decisions.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any qualification.
Proven hands-on experience working on a web or mobile software product experience as a Senior UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
Expertise in design software and tools such as Sketch, Webflow Figma, Adobe XD, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
Creative Problem Solving Skills
articulate design decisions and receive constructive feedback.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
Familiarity with front-end development principles and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
