
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions).
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and address financial discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support the Head of Finance in developing and monitoring budgets.
- Assist in providing insights into budgetary performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations impacting the organization.
- Communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and provide necessary financial information.
- Utilize financial software and systems effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (minimum of 2 years) in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (especially Ms. Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
