Follow the solo drive of a female Nigerian adventurer travelling from London to Lagos by road

A great deal of grit would be needed if a Nigerian female adventurer, Pelumi Nubi is to successfully pull off the long drive she has started in a Peugeot car that is heading to the megacity of Lagos from London in the United Kingdom.
It has been a remarkable journey getting to the point where she is making the move. What preceded this new test was the feat of visiting up to 77 countries when she was just 27 years of age.
Miss Nubi, who has been documenting what could turn out to be her most recent milestone on Instagram admits that her current challenge isn’t an easy one.

As a solo black female [traveller], writes Miss Nubi through her Instagram, I want to show that adventures like this are possible. It’s about exploring our beautiful continent, pushing my limits, and hopefully, inspiring some of you to chase your dreams too.
In the IG post is a picture of the traveller excitedly holding a paper board that had the inscription, I am solo driving from London to Lagos, an announcement which met the admiration of her followers.

According to the travel content creator, the journey has taken several months to plan. Her admirers on social media hope the trip proves to be a successful one. If everything checks according to their wishes, that would make Pelumi Nubi the first black woman that has ever travelled between the marked cities by road.
One other woman with a similar grit was the one famed as the Dutch biker on internet search engines.
In early December 2023, she caused a stir having released the footage of her journey travelling through West Africa and then Nigeria.
While many admired her courage riding through swampy terrains and villages, it was the conduct of some Nigerian Police Force officers that brought disrepute for requesting bribe.
