Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our infrastructure, optimising our CI/CD pipelines, and automating processes to improve efficiency and reliability. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth and secure delivery of software products. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage and configure infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, and implement measures to optimize and enhance infrastructure scalability and efficiency.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure the security of infrastructure and applications through the implementation of best practices and security controls.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and identify potential issues.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python,
• Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container
• orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform,
• Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation
• using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Understanding of networking concepts and experience with network configuration
• and troubleshooting.

9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified Ansible Engineer.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the DevOps
• community.
