BST Consulting Limited is a risk and regulatory‑technology firm partnering with banks to deliver compliant, production‑ready solutions and capability building. Our work spans IFRS 9 and Expected Credit Loss engines, RegSuite regulatory reporting for FinA, obligor risk‑rating systems, and credit‑approval workflow automation, alongside advisory on Basel III and IV and targeted training in IFRS 9 and capital adequacy.

Role Description

Full‑time hybrid role for a Full‑Stack Developer based in Ibadan. You will build and maintain web applications, create responsive user interfaces, implement secure and scalable backend services, integrate APIs, manage databases and collaborate with product, design and engineering peers to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM WAT.

Compensation

₦300,000 gross per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible, performant user interfaces
• Implement client‑side logic for data handling, validation and state management
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and supporting services
• Write efficient queries, manage schema changes and handle migrations
• Contribute tests, code reviews and documentation
• Troubleshoot issues across the stack and optimise for security and performance
• Onboard quickly to existing codebases and deliver incremental improvements

Core Requirements

• Strong experience with React or Next.js, TypeScript and modern CSS tooling
• Proficiency in Python with FastAPI or PHP with Laravel, including API design and backend fundamentals
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL or MySQL, query optimisation and migrations
• Familiarity with RESTful integrations, authentication patterns and secure data handling
• Version control with Git, basic Docker usage and CI or CD awareness
• Unit and integration testing experience for frontend and backend

Helpful Exposure

• React Query, Zod, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, Celery, Redis, MinIO, Node.js, Vite, pre‑commit, Jest or RTL.
• Experience with cloud platforms is a plus. You do not need experience with every item. Ability to learn quickly matters.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
