Our client is seeking a Head of Operations, a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operational activities. The ideal candidate will ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives while driving operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
 - Align operational processes with company goals, ensuring scalability and long-term success.
 - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
 - Lead budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for operational functions.
 - Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
 - Standardize best practices across departments (e.g., supply chain, logistics, customer service, IT).
 - Leverage technology and automation to streamline operations and reduce manual workloads.
 - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
 - Oversee and mentor operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
 - Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
 - Collaborate with HR on talent acquisition, training, and retention strategies.
 - Work closely with senior leadership (CEO, CFO, CTO) to align operations with business strategy.
 - Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
 - Manage vendor, supplier, and third-party relationships to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.
 - Proactively identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
 - Address bottlenecks, resolve conflicts, and implement crisis management protocols when necessary.
 - Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery and contingency planning.
 
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
 - 7+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
 - Proven track record of optimizing processes, reducing costs, and driving operational efficiency.
 - Experience in [industry-specific, e.g., manufacturing, tech, healthcare, logistics] is a plus.
