Job Summary

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that grow Checkers’ online presence, increase brand awareness, and drive engagement. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in content creation, social media analytics, and brand management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Create and curate engaging content (photos, videos, copy) in line with the brand voice and objectives
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
• Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to drive reach and conversions
• Collaborate with design, hospitality, and events teams to support promotional campaigns
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and prepare monthly reports
• Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in digital marketing and social media
• Organize and manage influencer partnerships and digital collaborations

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2–3 years of proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, CapCut, etc.)
• Excellent copywriting and visual storytelling skills
• Basic photography and video editing skills are a plus
• Experience with social media advertising and analytics tools
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and strategic thinking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Familiarity with hospitality, events, or lifestyle brands is an added advantage
