Role Overview
As the Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions. You will lead a team of engineers and researchers, ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Your expertise in AI/ML, software architecture, and leadership will be crucial in shaping the technical direction of the company.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to spearhead our AI/ML development efforts. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking. As the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and deployment of AI models, managing engineering teams, and ensuring our solutions are efficient, scalable, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of AI/ML AI/ML-powered applications and infrastructure.
•Architect and implement robust machine learning pipelines, including data preprocessing, training, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers to integrate AI into products.
• Optimize and fine-tune machine learning algorithms for efficiency and accuracy.
• Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD implementation.
• Research and evaluate new AI technologies to integrate into Lengo.ai’s offerings.
• Oversee infrastructure and cloud deployment strategies for AI solutions.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Stay ahead of AI/ML trends and evaluate new technologies for potential integration into our ecosystem.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on AI/ML.
Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP (Preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with data engineering, MLOps, and deploying AI models in production.
Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, system architecture, distributed computing, and database design.
• Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams and delivering AI/ML projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
• Startup experience or contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
• Familiarity with e-commerce/retail tech is a plus.
