
Role description
This is a part-time (20 hours/week) remote position for a Social Media Specialist based in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for managing social media accounts for 1tcomms and ancillary projects. Your duties will include conducting research, generating ideas, creating content that aligns with our brands, managing social media channels, analysing metrics to gauge the efficacy of social media campaigns, and creating reports that inform social media strategy. Anticipated start date: March 2024.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in content creation and social media management, with a strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc), algorithms and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing social media strategies.
- Exceptional content creation skills encompassing research, generating strategic ideas, graphic design, writing and video production, showcasing attention to detail and an innate creativity.
- Analytical prowess to effectively interpret data, extract actionable insights, and steer decision-making processes to optimise strategies.
- Proficiency in utilising social media management tools and analytics platforms to streamline operations and enhance performance.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- A genuine passion for social media and digital marketing, as reflected in your work.
