Chomzy emerges first female HoH as Chichi suffers Biggie’s strike

The Head of House games in the Big Brother Naija house took a huge turn yesterday. Even though we witnessed a few disqualifications, Chomzy, however, made history as she emerged the first female housemate of the Level Up season. It was beautiful to see a female as HoH after four weeks since the beginning the show started. Congratulations to Chomzy.
Shortly after her emergence as the first female leader, she nominated Eloswag as her deputy who will be with her in the HoH room. I guess she finally gave him a green light and let go of her crush on Groovy. Eloswag who had almost given up on her was very elated at her choice. Meanwhile, Phyna was exempted from the game for failing to complete her reward as Tail of House in the previous week.
For the best part, all housemates were up for possible eviction by Sunday, although rumours had it that there would be no evictions come Sunday but the housemates were oblivious of this. And, like most people foresaw, the merging of both levels changed the dynamics of the game. First, wagers would be won by all housemates after the wager games, they had a Quidax vault that saved their accomplishments and rewards and importantly, they no longer had to continue their long distance relationships.
However, the gossips were unending. Chichi prided herself as the most provocative housemate in the last few days. After her fight with Diana, she took Amaka’s side and was close to Amaka since then. Though Amaka was only interested in nurturing her newly found ship with Giddyfia, Chichi was unable to resist engaging in gossip with Diana. She mentioned that Diana never cooked and I’m here wondering who made cooking a criterion for preserving friendships.
It is noteworthy that Chichi got a serious warning from Big Brother for being confrontational. Even though she didn’t physically hurt Diana, her words and actions were too much of a provocation. In that moment of silence before Big Brother passed the verdict, I saw fear written all over her. The fear she should’ve had during that fight, but it was replaced by adrenaline and the strong urge to do the wrong things. That she wasn’t disqualified strikes me as foul play; nevertheless, it was good she got a second chance to amend her ways. Let’s see how it plays out seeing that her apologies were only superficial.
After his eviction, it would amuse you that Kess, the married guy still reminisced on the flirting he would have done in the house. I personally thought he would have run back to his family immediately. He told Ebuka that he would have loved to explore a few of the ladies in the house intimately but I just think he should go home to his wife now.
I don’t think I’m the only person that needs an explanation as to why Daniella would fight Amaka for sharing a drink. Apparently, the drink belonged to the currently non-existent level 2 housemates. Clashing over the drink made no sense now that the house is one. But Daniella insisted on being non-accommodating. I bet she would come around soon enough.
It appears Phyna is getting sexual with Groovy. Throughout yesterday there were routine searches and the supposed FBIs asking questions trying to figure out who initiated the story. These efforts didn’t yield any real story or truth. However, all hands pointed to Amaka who insisted she only mentioned intimacy and not sex. Chichi, who was the carrier of the news, confirmed Amaka’s words to Bella, and like wildfire, the information started raising animosity and confusion. Big Brother continued to give us more twists back-to-back. So, stay tuned.
