The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and maintain brand guideline and style
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and design communication materials for print and digital
- Advise and implement best practices for design projects, including design software
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with marketing team on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, short video clips and marketing materials
- Create design templates on a project-by-project basis
- Manage and prioritize design projects according to need
- Implement feedback and changes where needed
- Ensure projects are delivered timely
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in creative arts, industrial design, or related
Exceptional creative imagination and execution ability
Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of two years’ experience in graphic design and advertising
Good attention to detail
Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
Strong analytical skills
Time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of HTML and CSS (added advantage)
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
Experience with both print and digital media
