Marketing Content Specialist at SID Digital

Location: Lagos

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative B2B Community and Social Media Specialist to build, engage, and grow our online community while managing our brand’s presence across social media platforms. This role requires a creative and strategic individual who can drive engagement, create compelling content, and foster meaningful relationships with our audience.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create an effective content marketing strategy aligned with our overall B2B marketing goals and objectives.

2. Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging, and informative content in various formats, such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, infographics, videos, in-app messages, and in-app copies to optimize conversion as well as social media posts.

3. Target Audience Research: Conduct market research and customer analysis to gain a deep understanding of our B2B target audience’s pain points, needs, and preferences.

4. SEO Optimization: Develop content that is optimized for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive relevant traffic to our website.

5. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across multiple platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).

6. Monitor, respond to, and engage with the online community to build strong relationships.

7. Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

8. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, HR) to align content with company initiatives.

9. Identify trends, conversations, and opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

10. Plan and execute community engagement initiatives, including events, webinars, and AMAs.

11. Manage influencer and partnership collaborations to amplify brand reach.

12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media and community management.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, community building, or digital marketing.

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content.

• Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).

• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

 

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fintech, tech startups, or digital communities.

• Familiarity with paid social media campaigns and SEO best practices.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
