Meiza Code first-week winners are out although the search still continues
Now, it is a new week, and we go again, but not without showing you the winners of the Meiza Code Challenge during the first edition.
This year 2023 was made for the chefs and everyone they feed. Looking back at mid-May, it was Hilda Baci who had just popped the rarity bubble when she hosted a 93-hour and 11-minute cooking marathon which was later certified by the Guinness World Records (GWR) as the longest.
When this milestone was sealed through a GWR plaque that Baci received in the following month, it remarkably led to a trend that was for the large part quite positive. Everyone wanted to become change makers – they wanted to set a direction that others would follow and also share inspiration.
Although no challenger has dared to dislodge the reigning 27-year-old record holder so quickly, there is credit for trying. Someday, multiple rows of efforts might yield the desired prize. Like for the curious readers that took part in the Meiza Code Challenge launched here on 6 October.

The participants were meant to find hidden codes displayed openly in the squeeze of many insightful articles about festivals, nature and lifestyle that are lined up via Meiza.ng – they were to surrender the receipts and then claim an instant reward of ₦2K to buy shawarma if they liked. This was the benefit of learning from Meiza, earning while at it.
Now, it is a new week, and we go again, but not without showing you the winners of the Meiza Code Challenge during the first edition. Be inspired by the persistence of the code breakers who had to sieve through multitudes of stories to emerge the vanquisher.
What is next is Friday, 13 October if you wish to crack the Meiza Code.
It is the same old drill but with more telling details of how the world is evolving in our articles. Cheers to a fruitful search for you and mind our terms.
