Job Description: Head of Administration and Operations

GText Holdings is a global conglomerate company with over seven subsidiaries and a presence across Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia, including the US and UAE. The company operates in Real Estate, Construction, Media, Consulting, Investment, and Agriculture.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Administration and Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of administrative and operational management principles and practices. The Head of Administration and Operations will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the company’s day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement administrative and operational strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the company to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and optimize company resources, including facilities, equipment, and technology.
  • Coordinate and supervise administrative functions, including office management, record-keeping, and communication systems.
  • Develop and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor the administrative and operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Implement and manage performance management systems to monitor and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all operational aspects.
  • Manage budgets and financial plans related to administrative and operational activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall company performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience in administrative and operational management, with at least [3] years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of administrative and operational principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to administration and operations.
  • Proficiency in office management software and applications.
  • Certification in operations management or a related field is a plus.

Candidate must reside around Ikoyi, Lekki, and Victoria Island in Lagos.

SALARY RANGE: 300k to 400k
