We’re on to some really exciting stuff, and we are looking for a based Growth Lead to take ownership of user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth at scale. This role requires a data-driven mindset, a strong understanding of performance marketing, and the ability to lead experiments that drive scalable growth.
Role Overview

As the Growth Lead, you will be responsible for building and executing strategies that accelerate Squads Game’s growth. You will define and optimize the user funnel, lead performance marketing initiatives, and implement scalable acquisition and retention strategies. You must be comfortable running data-driven experiments, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and iterating based on key growth metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute Squads Game’s growth strategy across acquisition, retention, and monetization—driving measurable user and revenue growth.
- Develop and execute user acquisition strategies, leveraging paid ads, partnerships, influencer marketing, and organic channels.
- Collaborate with product, design, and content teams to craft culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with our audience.
- Identify and experiment with non-traditional growth loops—memes, viral content, referral tactics, social proof, and creator-led ideas.
- Define and report on key growth metrics weekly—CAC, LTV, engagement, churn, cohort analysis, etc.—and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage paid growth experiments (if needed) across channels like Meta, TikTok, or YouTube, but with a strong bias toward organic.
- Work with customer support and product teams to close feedback loops, improve onboarding, and reduce drop-off points
- Champion the voice of the user—especially Gen Z football fans—and bring fresh, bold ideas to grow a loyal user base.
- Manage and optimize ad spend across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Twitter.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in fantasy sports, gaming, marketing, and growth experiments.
About You
- 4+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, digital marketing, influencer marketing, or a similar role.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and do not mind a little chaos.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Customer.io, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
- Experience in digital advertising, including running and optimizing paid campaigns at scale.
- Great communication skills, very proactive, a deep thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to run A/B tests and iterate based on data insights.
- Deep understanding of acquisition, activation, and retention metrics.
- You must have a strong understanding of and passion for sports, specifically football.
- Experience working in the gaming and sports industry is a plus.
