Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Managing Associate at Balogun Harold Legal located in Lekki. The Managing Associate will be responsible for overseeing and managing legal projects, conducting research, drafting legal documents, negotiating contracts, and providing legal advice and guidance to clients. Additionally, the Managing Associate will be involved in business development activities, client relationship management, and mentoring junior associates.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in corporate/commercial law practice
- Expertise in any of the Technology, Infrastructure, and Energy sectors
- Experience working with institutional investors, international lenders, and private equity investors, will be an added advantage
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills
- Ability to provide sound legal advice and guidance
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to mentor and supervise junior associates
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
- Qualified to practice law in Nigeria
