NOGOF 2025: Where NCDMB will gather oil firms to unveil the Champions of Nigerian Content
Traditionally, every Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair is organised by the NCDMB alongside Jake Riley, an international consulting firm focused on transforming and supporting growth in the Nigerian public sector.

Building a vibrant, responsive community that adhere to policy rules seems like what needs to be implemented from the ground-up, and time and time again, the award winning Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has reflected that approach, which leads to the development agency hosting precisely 1,000 delegates at the fifth Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair (NOGOF) 2025 starting slightly just after mid-May, so what would be the highlight?
First is that the event, by its nature, is held biennially and for this edition, guests are to gather at the Nigerian Content Tower (NCT) in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State for two days.

Between Tuesday May 20 and the next day, the Board would be seen once again positioning itself to better effect sustainability of Nigerian Content in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The NCDMB already has a 10-Year Strategic plan it has developed – with the fair coming up, stakeholders get the opportunity to mix with upstream, midstream, and downstream projects coming up within their sector, reads a press release by the agency on Sunday.
In addition to this, there would be the fostering of investments, and advancing local content, in the company of federal government ministers, industry regulators and chief executive officers of international and indigenous operating and oil and gas service companies.
All of these personalities, as well as over 50 exhibition stands by players in the industry, manufacturers and researchers would be present. Even though a decade-long strategic blueprint that came into existence eight years ago is still being implemented, the demand for check of further milestones stays strong with one of the event’s main goals being to identify high impact activities with potential for in-country value addition and develop a five-year roadmap to ensure sustainable Nigerian Content Development.
The build-up to this upcoming NOGOF has been on since 2017. For its fifth edition, highlights will include exclusive project opportunity presentations by some 25 industry resource persons, insightful panel sessions and technical workshops.
Added to these are exhibitions that showcases innovations and services, coming close to strategic networking sessions.
