Operations Manager at Digital Frontier Advertising

About the job

Our client who owns a reputable loft is in search of a Business Operations Manager who has a detailed understanding of how the lifestyle and beauty industry works as you will oversee and coordinate the daily studio operations.

You are to ensure that all bookings are taken appropriately as you will be expected to work with photographers, models and makeup artists. As an operations manager, you will keep updated records of expenses and revenues and also promote good customer service by ensuring clients satisfaction, taking feedback and thinking of ideas to improve the studio space and clientele.

Location: Victoria Island

Salary : N180,000 – 200,000

Availability to start: As soon as possible

Work days: Tuesdays – Saturdays (9 am-5 pm)

Mondays (Applicable only when we have studio bookings)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

  • Develop and optimize workflow structures for efficient studio operations
  • Manage daily schedules and appointments using the company website and booking tools
  • Ensure proper maintenance of studio and workstations
  • Arrange regular maintenance services for all equipment

2. Team Leadership:

  • Supervise staff, ensuring active fulfilment of roles
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings
  • Oversee staff training and resolve personnel issues

3. Financial Management:

  • Prepare daily sales and weekly management reports
  • Maintain updated records of costs and revenues (daily, monthly, quarterly) – Manage inventory, order products, and replenish stock
  • Handle client payments and track all transactions

4. Customer Relations:

  • Ensure client satisfaction through excellent service
  • Handle and resolve all client complaints
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Manage correspondence via phone, WhatsApp, and email
  • Update client information and database

5. Business Development:

  • Identify growth opportunities and propose strategies to expand the business Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions
  • Develop partnerships with relevant industry players to enhance studio offerings
  • Monitor and analyze the performance and effectiveness of development strategies
  • Prepare and submit performance reports periodically

6. Social Media / Email Marketing:

  • Post on Instagram three times a week
  • Respond to DM requests
  • Send out weekly newsletters
  • Develop engaging content that showcases studio services and attracts potential clients
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across platforms to drive sales

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite
  • Social media proficiency and knowledge of content creation tools (e.g Canva, Lightroom etc)
  • Great interpersonal and people management skills
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
  • Proactive and self-starter

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 yrs proven experience as a Business Operations Manager or similar role

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Email marketing tools, Google tools and Canva or Photoshop

Experience with digital marketing and content creation is a plus
