We’re seeking a Project Manager with a passion for video production and strong technical skills to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Job Description:

The Project Manager will oversee and manage video production projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of project management software, video production processes, and excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients and creative teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination

  • Develop comprehensive project plans using tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com to create timelines, manage resources, and track progress.
  • Schedule project milestones and phases, coordinating all steps from concept to delivery.
  • Use Gantt charts and task tracking to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Client Communication and Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, updating them regularly on project progress.
  • Use Slack and Zoom for consistent communication and managing client feedback in real time.
  • Manage client expectations, making sure all deliverables meet quality standards.

2. Resource Management

  • Allocate resources effectively, coordinating with freelance talent and contractors as needed.
  • Monitor project budgets in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, maintaining transparency and managing project costs.
  • Use resource allocation software to ensure team members are not over-allocated and that each phase has appropriate staffing.

3. Quality Control and Delivery

  • Ensure final deliverables meet Relatedmotion’s quality standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct quality checks during each stage of the project, using Frame.io for video review and collaboration.
  • Oversee final project delivery through file-sharing platforms like Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer.

4. Risk Management

  • Anticipate potential project risks and develop contingency plans to handle unforeseen changes.
  • Track project status and adjust resources, timelines, and deliverables as needed.
  • Use reporting and analytics tools to evaluate project health and prevent delays.

5. Post-Project Review and Reporting

  • Conduct post-mortem meetings using Google Docs or Notion to document project successes and improvement areas.
  • Create detailed project reports for client records and future reference.
  • Collect client feedback to refine workflows and optimize project management processes.

Qualification

1. Experience: 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in video production or media.

2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Film, Communications, or a related field.

3. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management software (Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
  • Familiarity with video collaboration platforms (Frame.io, Slack).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting software and file-sharing platforms.
