Project Monitoring Manager at Zigma Limited

Responsibilities
- Monitor project progress and performance against established plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Implement effective project monitoring systems to track key metrics and milestones.
- Analyze project data to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Generate comprehensive project monitoring reports for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess on-site activities and address any emerging issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate project monitoring tools and technologies.
- Provide timely and accurate updates to project stakeholders on the status of ongoing projects.
- Evaluate project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization in project monitoring processes.
- Updating and maintaining document management systems and physical records.
- Maintaining the security of confidential documents.
- Gather actual data, update project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team.
- Create, maintain, review and administer construction schedules and plans
- Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
- Keep the client team up to date on progress to present to the client
- Present information for internal meetings on the project
- Prepare Tenders
- Filing and archiving relevant documentation.
- Retrieving files for other employees and customers when needed.
- Controlling the flow of documents in and out of the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of work experience in project monitoring within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant software for project monitoring and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the oil and gas sector.
- Must have experience in navigating through Ariba and Nipex platform
- Must have a PMP Certification
