Our client is seeking a Head of Operations, a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operational activities. The ideal candidate will ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives while driving operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
  • Align operational processes with company goals, ensuring scalability and long-term success.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for operational functions.
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Standardize best practices across departments (e.g., supply chain, logistics, customer service, IT).
  • Leverage technology and automation to streamline operations and reduce manual workloads.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Oversee and mentor operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with HR on talent acquisition, training, and retention strategies.
  • Work closely with senior leadership (CEO, CFO, CTO) to align operations with business strategy.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
  • Manage vendor, supplier, and third-party relationships to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Proactively identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address bottlenecks, resolve conflicts, and implement crisis management protocols when necessary.
  • Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery and contingency planning.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of optimizing processes, reducing costs, and driving operational efficiency.
  • Experience in [industry-specific, e.g., manufacturing, tech, healthcare, logistics] is a plus.
