What’s worth doing at all is worth doing well, they say. So is the story of Nigerian skit maker, popularly known as Mr Funny or Sabinus, who won an award for what he loves to do, and very well too.
The African Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) winner, whose real name is Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, has won his first global award. Sabinus excitedly took to his Instagram page to announce the news to his fans, who in turn showered him with encomiums.
The hilarious skit maker bagged the second award at the 2023 edition of the African Content Creator Award hosted by the Rwanda International Movie Awards. Sabinus, who was full of praises and gratitude to his fans for their love and support over the years, said: ‘Thanks guys for the support and love!!! Won African Content Creator Award at the Rwanda International Movie Awards 2023.”
