About the job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled mobile developer who can design, develop, and maintain applications using React Native. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for publishing and maintaining applications on production while troubleshooting any issues that arise, and working as part of an agile development team.

Responsibilities:

● Participate in code reviews, contributing to our culture of continuous improvement.

● Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable React Native code.

● Maintain and extend the mobile app platform’s API library using best practices.

● Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users; correct application and API defects.

● Review and translate business requirements into technical specifications and development tasks.

● Participate in Scrum Team design review meetings, advocating for best practices in mobile development.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend Developers, UX/UI Designers, QA) to define, design, and deploy new features.

● Implement automated testing suites for component and end-to-end tests.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.

● 2 years of professional experience in mobile app development (iOS, Android).

● Strong proficiency in React Native, Typescript, and JavaScript ES6+.

● In-depth knowledge of state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Recoil.

● Familiarity with writing native modules for iOS and Android.

● Solid experience with common stacks such as Redux (Vanilla and Redux Toolkit), Expo, ReactJS (Class-Based & Function-Based), and Mobile CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Action, EAS, Circle CI).

● Expertise in RESTful or GraphQL APIs: development, consumption, and integration.

● Hands-on experience with Git-based source control in a team environment.

● Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.

● Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to DRY principles.

● Proven experience in building and publishing apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store independently.
