Social Media Manager at Sujimoto

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies for the fintech company and hotel, in line with their overall marketing objectives.
  • Manage and maintain the social media accounts of both organizations, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create and curate high-quality content that is relevant to both the fintech and hotel industries, including blog posts, infographics, videos, and other engaging formats.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer feedback, inquiries, and mentions, and respond promptly and appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the marketing teams of both organizations to ensure social media campaigns align with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze social media data and generate reports on key metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates, to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media and fintech and hotel marketing, and share insights and recommendations with the team.
  • Monitor competitors’ social media activities and identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, sales, and product development, to ensure social media efforts support overall business goals.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the fintech industry and ensure all social media activities adhere to these guidelines.

Requirement:

  • Proven work experience as a social media manager, preferably in the fintech and hotel industries.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing trends and audience preferences.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret social media data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple social media accounts and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of fintech and hotel industry trends, regulations, and customer preferences.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
